My Dad published a Jerusalem hiking book with public transportation directions!
For everyone who has been wishing for a Jerusalem version of "Tripping out of Tel Aviv" - check out In and Around Jerusalem for Everyone: The Best Walks, Hikes, and Outdoor Swimming, by Arnold Slyper. The book focuses more on history and explanations - it's 318 pages - but at my suggestion my father included public transportation directions for the hikes. The book has gorgeous photos - great for gifting! - and detailed walkthroughs of historical places.
